What software should I have to run my virtual assistant business?

written by Candy

Kevin asks what software he should have in his business…

Resources:
OpenOffice – Open source office suite
Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 – for PDFs
QuickBooks – Simple Start is free and allows you to have 20 customers and vendors, I usually tell people to spring for the Pro version though

  1. This question I’ve heard over and over again. That’s exactly why I started my podcast series. Software Savvy Sub focuses specifically on software for the virtual business. However you have done a nice job answering this too.

  2. Carl says:

If you just want to make a simple pdf document get PDF995. It loads as a printer. When you want a document to be pdf just print to pdf995. It creates a pdf file on your computer instead of sending it to a printer. The simple version is free otherwise it is $9.95.
